limited breakfast faulty remote
The advertised breakfast was a bit of a joke. I was expecting cooked breakfast, but it only had cereals and a few biscuits. the TV remote didn't work and I couldn't change channels, so I had to watch the same boring program the whole night.

cereal breakfast broken remote
the room was quite tidy.
The lack of proper breakfast was a real letdown. I expected more than just cereal. plus, the soundproofing was non-existent, and i could hear every little noise from the street and other rooms. It was like sleeping next to a highway. and the tv remote didn't work, so i had no entertainment.

I appreciated the location near the beach and town centre. the host carried luggage to the room, that was kind. complimentary hot drinks and snacks were available all day in the dining room. It was a nice touch.
the street parking was busy! it was difficult to find a space.

smooth check-in clean room efficient staff
Check-in went smoothly. Staff were efficient. The room was fresh and clean. The hotel was quiet.
The carpet in the room was old and stained, so it needs replacement.

underwhelming stay
small room bathroom hair
the location was fine for accessing nearby shops.
The room was smaller than i expected. also, i found hairs in the bathroom upon arrival. It was off-putting. the staff seemed uninterested in addressing my concerns about the cleanliness.

clean room complimentary drinks
i liked how clean my room was. the complimentary hot drinks available all day was like a treat. i found the staff attentive and helpful, a real plus.
the carpet in my room really need a replacement. it looked quite old and had some stubborn stains. i think new flooring would make a big difference.

lovely windows handy kettle nearby parking
The room had high ceilings and lovely stain glass windows. A kettle was available. A fridge was also in the room. The car park nearby charged £12.60 for 24 hours. I could renew it once.
The breakfast included just cereals and yogurt so my kids had to do without their usual toast.
